No wonder they're so cheap.

  1. If you don't like it, fly someone else! The market will straighten them out, albeit 3 to 4 years too late.

    Seriously, that's scary shit.

  2. In Europe, we have trains.

They used to have them in America, too, just after the jurassic period. But then they were rendered extinct by a giant meteor strike. Or by the tag team of Detroit and Washington, take your pick.

Anyways, trains are cheaper, safer, more hygenic, more comfortable, more environmentally-friendly, more easily interfaced with regional and municipal transportation networks, and more conducive to chance romantic encounters.

The latter is because you don't have a seat reservation and thus can suss out whichever conversation partners you'd like.

Best part of that is, if you end up sitting next to that dude from Hershey, PA, who works for PriceWaterHouseCoopers and has lived in Berlin for 5 years without learning to string three German words together in a sentence and only wants to talk to you about hookers, golf, and Dave Matthew's solo album, you can just get up and find another seat or go to the dining car for a beer.

Oh, and trains don't need rudders or ailerons or flaps, and a crack in the fueselage ain't no thang.
